· Does the ENERGIE THERMODYNAMIC SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM have a backup power alternative?
Yes, there is backup power, but only for emergencies, such as a
broken pipe; a loss of the working fluid or greater demand for the use
of hot water, ( i.e. More people at home.)
· Why is the backup power manual?
· Can the panels be placed in any direction?
· What is the weight of a panel?
· What are the measurements of a panel?
32”x78”.
· How high can it heat the water?
· Will I have hot water, on days without sun?
· Do I need special water pipelines?
No. Installation makes maximum use of the existing pipelines.
· Are the panels required to be installed on the roof?
· What kind of gas is used in the system?
The gas we use is R134a. It is the same as found in most refrigerators
and automobile air conditioning systems, today.
· If there is a loss of gas, is it any problem to the environment?
No. R134a is environmental friendly.
· Does the ENERGIE THERMODYNAMIC SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM
require maintenance?
No. It only requires that you check the magnesium anode, yearly.
· At what distance should the panels be placed from the tank?
The panels should be placed no more than 48 feet in height, and 96
linear feet in distance from the tank.
· How much energy does the system consume?
Energy consumption varies based on the size of the system
purchased. For comparison purposes a 75 gallon water tank system
uses an input of 390 watts, and generates a total system output of
1690 watts, reducing your electricity usage by 75%, and incurs
no natural gas charges.
· Are the panels corrosion resistant?
Yes, they are made of anodized aluminum.
· Can the panels be painted?
Yes. But the colors should be dark. If not, the efficiency may be
decreased.
· Is the THERMODYNAMIC SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM covered by a warranty?
Yes, a 10 year written warranty is provided.
· Do I have to charge the system with R134a frequently?
No, as indicated above the only maintenance the system should ever
need is to check the magnesium anode, and replace when necessary.
· Does this system produce electricity?
No. The THERMODYNAMIC SOLAR SYSTEM process heats the
water.
· What is the tank constructed of?
The interior is stainless steel; a polyurethane layer insulates it, the
exterior is high impact-resistant polystyrene.
